"Apologia"

I have been told that I have strayed from the original purpose of this blog, which was to "Rejoice in my posterity.'

I have strayed into politics, and interesting U-Tube videos, and cartoons, and other things that have nothing whatsoever to do with my posterity.

In my defense, I wish to point out that my posterity has strayed away from blogging to Facebook, and everything of interest seems to happen there these days! Hence, MY BLOG has become, more and more, a place for me to observe the world around me, and comment on it, hopefully for the betterment of my posterity.

Hence, the new subtitle.

It began as a way for me to keep up with my posterity; it is now a way for my posterity to keep in touch with me, and for me to keep a record for future generations of the great and momentous happenings of my days.

And if that's not good enough . . . you can get your own Blog!!!

Christ will NEVER turn away from us.

But if WE turn OUR backs on HIM, we can hardly expect Him to continue to LEAD and protect us as He has in the past.

Let us not make this mistake. As Pres. Reagan so aptly put it, "If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under."

Thanks to a group of German documentarians in 1909, and some modern film archivists, this PRICELESS piece of film has been discovered and restored.
